Blackwell Study Lounge

Yeah yeah. I agree. So are you EECS + regents or MET? Because you sound simultaneously stressed and privileged. Seriously so what if some clowns are talking. The new air pods have noise cancellation. Yes people are supposed to STFU in the study lounge — unless they’re working on a group project. In which case you are in the wrong. Is that irritating to you? - yes, we’ll it should be and it also happens to be the viewpoint of whomever was talking.

Do you now understand that there are two sides to this story? The people talking probably thought it was ok. Why are you posting about your frustration on Reddit when you could have told whomever was talking to shut up? That would have potentially fixed your problem. Venting won’t fix shit.

So here’s some advice for next time… 1. Understand that other people don’t want to be annoying 2. Please learn to use your words in person instead of venting 3. The other idiots talking probably thought it was ok because you were wearing headphones. ie There is another perspective to every issue 4. If they don’t want to shut up - which is pretty unlikely - move and learn to adapt to shitty situations. So what if you have to study in your room. Is your pretentious af Blackwell double which comes with a desk not nice enough for you? Do you really need a stupid view of the rsf to study?
