Blame Me Not

Everyone seems to be passing on advancing the kingdom of God in favor of style points in their Christian walk, and then people debate whether we are relevant. The very fact that you are debt free frees you up to give when people are in need! It’s simple math, why do I need to explain this? But what really hurts me is that the most vulnerable people in society, who we could defend if we had the scratch, are getting led into destructive behaviors because godless people have them over a barrel. The news reported that landlords were leaning on their tenants to have illicit sex with them because they couldn’t pay the rent. We’re giving them canned goods when we could be giving them proper jobs in a God fearing workplace. That’s not going to happen without money, and instead of praying for it we act like we’re too good for it and that society is someone else’s problem. At least put it in God’s hands by praying for it! Moving to another town is not the answer.
