Boogie's story of his interaction with Anita Sarkeesian at VidCon

Are there societal "privileges" to being a cis white male? Yes. However, as a person that wholeheartedly supports the rights of women, minorities, and LGBTQ+ people I also think it's disgusting to disregard cis white males because of the way they were born.

When the conversation devolves down to "your a cis white male with tons of privileges" it completely dismisses that cis white males have personal struggles that are many times deeply tied to the injustices that other groups suffer.

Now this isn't the common argument thrown around that boils down to the oppressor no longer being able to oppress so they feel like an attacked class of people. (like Uber Christans) My point is when we split up people with divisive identity politics it hurts the discussion and the progress that has been made. These struggles are for the progress of ALL people, and of course there will be detractors, but everyone has their own burdens to carry and their own personal struggles that shouldn't be ignored like the injustices have been ignored in the past. We must strive to be better than the past.
