Boycott Toyota calls after company defends donations to election objectors

The region and climate demand an over built vehicle that's relatively cheap. In the u.s the cars live a relatively easy life driving on paved roads and mostly in more moderate climates, so they'll still be in decent condition even if they have 200k miles or more. The lifespan of a car in the us is about 100k to 300k or so depending on model of course, at the end of the lifespan people here tend to sell and buy something newer since cars are plentiful here. Because of that the value is relatively low. Theres trucks that are more powerful and bigger, than tacoma/tundra/hilux but those are american brand such as ford/gm that dont have the international presence toyota has. It's a combination of toyotas being built straight up better, cheap parts, cheaper repair labor in other countries ,better reliability and offroad capability than pretty much anything else.
