You can’t pretend you want a collaborative relationship and you want to be our “colleagues” while simultaneously ignoring every major physician organization speaking out over your egotistical name change. It’s the very definition of not wanting a collaborative relationship the AAPA just wants to do whatever it pleases. PAs are assistants to the physician and I’ve never seen a PA be confused with a medical assistant quit the stupid AAPA talking points. This is purely just to position yourselves for independent practice rights and to further confuse patients. For the record physicians are against NPs practicing independently. You did less than 10% of the work you don’t get the same independence simple as that. Stay in your own lane before your ignorance gets someone hurt.
