Dating in medicine

People put too much pressure on a relationship, it's not about the great things you do together - lets say sky diving and shit like that. This is why I don't like Instagram etc because it's highlights and these people don't have any responsibilities (med school) and are also likely funded by their parents (how do you have a Rolex at 22).

A relationship is 95% about doing the small things and daily life together, so a great example is just studying in the same room, eating together. These are the real things that make and break a relationship.

I've been in a relationship for 5 years now and the only reason it's worked is because we have just as much fun doing nothing as we do traveling etc together.
