No one really knows. The FO is making guesses for what next season brings. Will there be fans attending ? A regular schedule ? How bad did this season hurt the bottom line ? Is the Battery going to be operational and how much was it affected ?

Until those questions get sorted out, it's impossible to determine next year's payroll. Also, will the NL have the DH full time ? If there's no DH, do we sign Ozuna to a multi year deal assuming the DH comes the year after ?

We have some big deals coming off the books. Mostly in the bullpen. Melancon's 14M is the biggest. Hamel's 18M could be used for a starter. I'd say it's likely the money's there. It's the length of contracts that'll dictate who we can pick up.
