Brazilian supreme court decides all Brazilians are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Those who fail to prove they have been vaccinated may have their rights, such as welfare payments, public school enrolment or entry to certain places, curtailed.

Are people that insane thinking this is NOT a good idea? Of course this is a good idea, this is what the US of A, the so-called Beacon of Freedom and Prosperity and Liberty and all that good stuff, should be doing to the vaccine that is rolling out here.

I'm so tired of hearing that actions like these encroach on the personal freedoms of people. This is a global pandemic where hundreds of thousands of people have died (think 9/11 times thousands, for those who refuse to see the numbers) and the government has every damn right to enforce people to get vaccinated.

If you don't get vaccinated, you are putting those at risk, such as the elderly, as one example, at risk. Get vaccinated, make it mandatory, and put in consequences if you don't.
