Building a mostly new gaming PC, would love any suggestions before I start buying

Thats the only benchmark where it shows the 1700 coming any close to a 7700k lol. This is the only benchmark I've seen that supports these kinds of scores, and in every other benchmark, intel beats ryzen by a big margin in mafia.. Why is it so off in this one? How does it beat an 8600k that performs even better than the 7700k at its stock speeds? I don't think that guy is lying but something seems incorrect, other benchmarkers test with 3200mhz ram as well and 8600k outperforms on most titles. You can bring this over to /r/amd they seem to agree. The processor you're suggesting op to get would end up costing more with less gaming performance than the coffeelake build if he'd just switched to a cheaper board. That's what I meant by going full circle, I probably used it wrong haha. Ryzen is a great price/performance cpu but the 8400+ coffeelakes are nothing to scoff at for gaming performance
