Just the way you phrase it makes is so nebulous. Your diction alone indicates that Fran hasn't done enough to atone for what he's done even though the person who called him out on Twitter seems satisfied with his response.

Calling it an egregious offense and saying it'll take serious work completely ignores context. We barely know the story and you already sound like you want to label this in with every other bad thing someone has done.
