This is a disingenuous article and some comments as well.

Listen, what happened is a tragedy, any death is.

But let’s have some facts on the table of things that came out in court.

-mental health is not an excuse to commit crime

-abdi sexually assaulted 3 women that morning

-abdis mother took him off his medications

-abdi had a really poor heart which was the ultimate factor in his death

-we cannot let people just go because they don’t want to be arrested, if someone sexually assaults your daughter, son, wife, husband, is that something we should simply say “oh they don’t want to be arrested, guess it’s ok” - not a place I want to live in.
