Can the NHS deny medication because of substance issues?

Yeah the NHS has a huge problem with treating people who use recreational drugs. But there's more to it than this.

Lots of mental health services are being outsourced at the moment, there's been a HUGE problem with ADHD in particular, because the way of treating ADHD is to prescribe stimulants.

What's been happening all over the country is these private clinics handling NHS patients have been going under. And leaving patients without medication and without support, and it's pushed so many people with ADHD to seek out street drugs without actually realising why.

My sister was prescribed something very similar to cocaine, the clinic folded. And it's pushed her to seek out street cocaine because that's now the only thing that helps her feel normal. She's in the process of suing and the lawsuit is going to be huge.

So sorry you're going through this
