Right I stopped using cheap skincare products where ingredient list was not mentioned and that contains any artificial fragrance or synthetic colour without mentioning anything but my mother won't replace the products with better ones then I stopped using daily creams as I was teen and still is who can't buy anything on my own .

It might sounds tacky but I used started using cold press mustard oil for my hair and skin and multani mitti with rose water (I checked that it was pure rose water before using)for skincare because I was completely dependent upon parents so can't buy anything on my own .

Now I don't live with them but I still use it ofcourse with other skincare that I can afford because I don't live with my parents.

I would say at least the homemade face pack don't have long term health hazard unlike skincare people blindly buy without reading ingredient list ofcourse it don't mean blindly mix anything you get in kitchen .
