[Canada] Cammer gets backed into twice in one week and both vehicles flee the scene

I still have to agree with the other guy. I often have to share my vehicle with family due to another vehicle (just hit 200K) having issues + maintenance, and frankly, unless it were stolen, I know who is driving my car and when.

If I woke up and did not find my car in the driveway, I would call everyone not in the house, and if no one claims to be driving it, I would report it stolen. I could be wrong, but I believe there is (or should be) a short grace period from an incident (or the time it is stolen) and the report of the vehicle being stolen. If someone driving my vehicle got a ticket, I would ask them to pay it, and they refuse, I would not reject the notion of taking them to court. I have my own driving record and do not need other shit tacked on due to other drivers in my vehicle.

While I understand your point, and frankly I would have a serious dilemma with a red light cam situation, which in my opinion are mostly a cash grab, I would like to believe that I would pay the ticket.
