I can't agree more. The comments he gets on twitter and insta aren't even tad bit funny anymore.

He’s the first “face” of gaming to the mainstream.

What more people need to realize is that regardless of you’re feelings about him within the community, he represents it to the outside world.

Labeling him in a negative way, out to the rest of the world, casts a shadow over the entire thing.

Everyone else being able to see a well spoken, mature (when he’s on mainstream shit), and incredibly successful guy as the face will just bring in more money and opportunity for everyone already here. That’s all a net positive for everyone involved. Niche communities need these things to push further. There’s a reason you don’t hear other streamers trash him, even if they possibly hate the guy behind the scenes.

Letting him kill it and get even bigger means that we’ll get 10 ninjas next year, then 20, and more and more people will be able to do what he’s doing.

A good example is hip-hop. I may not like someone like Lil Pump, but if they’re the current face in the mainstream I’m not going to the outside world showing them how trash he is. It’s just a solid way to give everyone else mud to sling on us. Stop giving the “enemy” ammo from your own camp.
