can't wait to watch ppl breeze through TAG Part 2 like it's nothing lol

I got to the Dark Lord boss before I gave up. Didn't die, just gave up. Its much, much easier than part 1 imo. I died once to one of those Prowlers, got tips disabled so I had no idea what they did but they are a Threat level 6+ my dudes lmao. If you get hit by one of those Prowlers with no Blood Punches its crazy practically gg, meat hook is your only save and grace. Other than that its smooth sailing, honestly I don't know what to say I found it much easier than part 1 but since the Last Master level I'm probably much better at the game so that's a factor. They leave Zombie spawns behind when you clear an area which is nice, they used to remove them but you can restock between zones making it easier.

This boss is so mind numbing though, he just keeps fully healing. I really don't know what to do. Watching videos online of other players its like a 20% heal at lower difficulties, it doesn't even matter if I dodge the fucking attack. Its beyond stupid. I was on his last pip before I'd had enough, I was running around in that arena for longer than the entirety of Part 2(yes really). I could absolutely for the love of god NOT roll 3 green attacks in a row. I'll grab Ultra Nightmare another time. I suspect the heal will be nerfed unless I had some bug going on I don't know. Seriously when I had every attack down it was just a case of running around fully healing and praying for another green. The codex doesn't mention jack, I can see the little nugget full heals fall off him when he does it but I can't do anything about it. I tried everything I could think of but I just couldn't find a way to at least reduce his healing, wanted to kill myself after so long in there. Real let down after I enjoyed the rest of the DLC, I've never been a fan of any of the bosses but this one really took the piss. Wouldn't surprise me if there's more bossing after those 5 pips too.

Only tips I'd give are movement speed in mid air rune feels like a must. Those Prowler dudes can be Meat Hooked onto and are seriously priority number 1, they will end your run. Stone imps you can mostly just ignore since they'll get taken care of via collateral but chainsaw or Ballista tier 2 kills them I think it was. I dislike the auto-shotty thing so I avoided that mostly. Rocket lockon + grenades seemed to be the most effective vs the Dark Lord. He un-stuns himself at 50% regardless. You want to immediately run at the zombie spawns, shoot one bullet to the head from your Heavy Cannon for an execute, two of them for an immediate Hammer use. He'll spawn some hard mobs quite quickly after you weaken him, if you're quick enough getting that hammer you can immediately clean all of them up before they even attack which is some serious relief. Other than that I've got nothing, even from phase 1 he fully heals on his missed attacks, pray for your 50/50s I guess. He has more attacks in later phases he also heals by missing you but those ones are like ~15% which you can manage, its the non-green melee sword attack that made me alt-f4. Super cool cutscenes, especially at the end. GLHF.
