Not a fan, couple things really put me off it. finding games as a slayer is a pain. I do not play doom to play as a clunky slow demon and I shouldn't have to play several matches to finally get to be the slayer. they don't let you customise the weapon wheel like base game. I spent a ton of time with my weapon wheel set up in a very specific way that fits my playstyle, but battle mode I constantly switch to the wrong weapons because the wheel can't be customized. It is a cool idea, but it's just not a very good game mode. ID has always done really well when it comes to listening to fans so I hope they hear us and we get a better multiplayer in the future.
