Car Dealership frustrations

*******update #2*******

Just to recap as I wrote a short update in another post. I called Tuesday as my loaner keeps loaner contract, and license plate expired and I also wanted an update on my jeep. I called their service department and he remembered me from a previous conversation and said he hold on while I call the new car service department. Whoever answered in that department told him they would call me back in about 10 to 15 minutes. I never received the call back even a day late still no call. So I decided yesterday I was going up there. I walked in and asked for a manager. The manager approaches me and I tell him he has two options because I'm fed with his dealership. I said he can either cancel my contract and pretend like I've never been here or I can give jeep a call and have them look into the matter.

He tells me to wait while he goes and checks on the financing and asks if I mind if he checks on on the jeep too while he's gone. I say "whatever".... So he comes back about 5 minutes later and tells me my jeeps window is on back order and my jeep will be ready in about two days. I then ask why he did not go look into the financing like I requested. So he walks away and comes back and we sit down and talk. He tells me unfortunately the financing is complete and asks me what he can do. I tell him I'll call jeep. He got real concerned and asked what exactly I was going to tell jeep and I responded " my novel of a story". He then asks if the service he has provided me has been satisfactory and I told him I wasn't going to answer that because I'm jeep now.

I call jeep and the lady is very helpful she requests for the vin number so I go and get it. After I give it to her she then asks if my jeep was used because someone else's name was on that vin number. This really got me going, so I stormed into their glass office and asked why in the hell someone else's name would be on the vin number. They gave me some explanation that didn't make a lick of sense that if they don't have the vin number when they do something then it automatically assigns someone to a vin number. I may have misunderstood this part but jeep is looking into that for me today as well. So I gave jeep my story and they told me they would have to contact the dealership and I would be receiving a call tomorrow. I made sure to tell them to make sure they are talking to a manager because apparently everyone is a manager. Sounds hang up and go inside because the first manager I talked to when I got there yesterday told me I had to fill out some paperwork to return the loaner.

So I went to their financing office and another manager approaches me and apologizes that he hasn't been brought into this sooner, I ask him I need to fill out the paper work to return my loaner and he told me there wasn't any paperwork???? He then asks what he can do and tells me he's going to go check on my jeep. He comes back and says that the window shield that was Ordered from jeep/Chrysler/whoever... Had a stop order placed on it. I asked why and he couldn't tell me. He said when they found hat out they tried ordering a windshield from another dealership and when they got that one they found out it was cracked too. He then proceeded to tell me that it would be a few more days and that he would personally call me to give me updates and tried giving me his cell phone. I then asked why did the other manager I just spoke with an hour ago tell me it would be another two days. He said I don't know maybe he got different information but I don't want to over promise anything to you.

He then said lets get you into another loaner and a full tank of gas and I said I don't want another loaner from you. I don't want anything else to do with your company and that I would rather pay to uber around than to get a few loaner from your company. He was kind of surprised by that response and said I guess that is a choice.

So my better half comes and picks me up and we have an argument about how idiotic it is to pay for rides when I could get a free loaner from them. I kind of regret it but at the same time I really want them to understand I would rather pay when I don't have to to avoid doing any business with them.

So here I am today waiting for a call back from jeep!!! This has been a nightmare!!!
