A lot of friends and family that have and still work at USAA say the culture has changed with the new CEO. USAA just sold off a huge Chunk of the company. While that doesn’t mean they are directly letting people go blindly it has raised s lot of concern for current employees. Furthermore, if you look at USAA’s social media there is a lot of anger towards them on a customer based level. It’s hard to see where USAA will stand with their increased interest in a fully digital banking experience.

While USAA does offer great benefits and perks so does Valero. I have heard of many people leaving USAA and go to Valero because they still love what they do but they can now do it on a much “smaller” level.
