The case against the Jedi (Pitfalls of stoic masculinity)

While I agree the Jedi have problems. An interesting thought was pointed out to me the other day.

Do the Jedi really have much choice in the matter of how strict to be with emotions?

TCW proved that force sensitivity can develop at wildly different times and rates. We saw toddlers easily levitating things. Can you imagine a 3 year old throwing a tantrum with the force? Ooops. They broke moms neck cause she didn't give them more ice cream.

Emotions become wildly dangerous when an errant thought can actually be dangerous.

Ironically the fear of what emotions could make a person do, led them to go too far and want to rid themselves of all emotions.
