[Censorship] ShoeOnHead's "Domestic Abuse Against Men" video is removed from /r/videos for being..."Political"

Obligatory: "This Is Bullshit - You're Oversimplifying A Complex Situation To The Point Of No Longer Adding Anything Useful To The Discussion"

The video itself isn't the problem. It's the "discussions" on reddit we see time and time and time again. It's only a matter of time before people like SRS come in to say their peace, and then people like mensrights come along to say their peace about everyone elses peace, and the threads just devolve into shit. People argue, break the rules, and abuse the report function like crazy in those threads. It's easier to just nip it in the bud.

Plus, a video like that belongs in a subreddit like /r/politicaldiscussion or something. I mean, it's technically a video, and it's a good one, but it ain't exactly the kinda thing people go to /r/videos for.

I highly doubt the mods have some secret SJW agenda, as some would suggest. They are just trying to do their best to keep one of the most popular subreddits from turning into an udder shit show. They are just humans, they don't work PR, they're doing their best.

Maybe removing it all together wasn't the best move to make, maybe a "Controversial" tag would be better to distinguish the shit threads while still keeping the video up.
