All of a sudden there's a ton of people who love parking cops. I have a different experience, and said (not proud of it) similar things to a parking cop at Ashbridges Bay. We were down for a family picnic, and had grabbed what seemed like a perfectly fine parking spot, in line with a whole bunch of other cars. Saw the parking cop sitting in the shade while we unloaded kids, coolers, stollers, etc. Gave him a nice friendly nod too. Dragged everything to the beach, then came back to get the second load. This quota-seeking cock weasel was now writing a ticket for parking in emergency zone and directing tow trucks to tow the entire lane. I asked what the fuck? He points at the ground. Very, very faded lettering covered by leaves indicating emergency zone (right beside the last of the regular spots). I asked him why in the fuck he didn't say anything when I was unloading for five minutes. Useless fucker had nothing to say. They're not all heroes generating revenue for the city. Some of them are worthless, lazy scum.
