My kids' school uses Chromebooks for everything. No more books. No more pens/pencils.

Because that's the way shit is now.

Hell, I never use a pen at my job unless I have to sign something and even the we use digital signatures tied to our CAC identity most of the time.

It's like people whining about cursive going away.

Nothing is in cursive anymore. Everything is in print.

People over-romanticize shit from their youth, but only specific shit.

I don't see anybody whining that you no longer have to adjust the vertical hold on televisions anymore. Nobody is complaining that we don't use corded phones as much anymore.
