CMV: I believe that racial prejudice is repugnant, even if it's targeted toward a white person.

I see a lot of people make that connection though, not just you.

Systemic racism is a problem that can only be solved if white people are conscious of it and work to eliminate it. The Civil Rights movement happened the way it did in part to make white people who were unaware conscious of what was happening in the south, so that when it came time to vote they'd vote to make things better. Politicians responded to this outrage by passing civil rights legislation.

Saying "white discrimination is a problem" or "all lives matter" creates a purposeful societal smokescreen against that consciousness.

It's not that "B" isn't a problem, it's that pointing out that "B" is a problem undermines those that are trying to solve "A".
