CMV: In terms of society as a whole, simply recommending to eat healthy/exercise obviously isn't enough to fix our obesity epidemic. Extra costs for being unhealthy or extra benefits for being healthy will need to be created if we want this to change.

Perhaps it was covered, forgive me, but should we tax or punish the disabled who are overweight because of their health problems? The exact one that made them obese, not the other way around? I live in a town with a very large overweight/ obesity issue. I've mostly found them to have visible, obvious mental health issues, or mental disability/ intellectual impairment. That alone seems to be a very big issue in my town. There are those who prefer to be large and although I've heard it said, I couldn't tell you exactly why. To have presence maybe..I know someone who is unhealthy and had gained weight. He cannot go in the sun, or move his body very well without someone right there. His brain no longer triggers the release of cortisol and he needs steroids for the rest of his life. He had cancer. He is taxing the system right now and will be until he dies. He will be lucky to live to 30. Millions have been spent on him. He doesn't understand how to pass judgment on others. He lives to love and share his light. He is in a wheelchair, and he will soon tax the system that people pay iinto to move up to a motorized wheelchair. Because he is overweight he should pay a tax, but hasn't he paid enough? Haven't the obese paid enough already? Let'sthink, are they poor? Uneducated? Aren't they paying for it everyday with their unfortunate lives? And why is this issue all over the place now when we overlook how much oo our money is going to house and make nuclear bombs, and this world war (I believe) we are in? Are we sure were not actually letting CNN brainwash us with constant propaganda and smokescreens? If its a true concern, they'd pull the junk off the shelves, but they dont. Letting people decide for you what you should be thinking of your fellow man is a big fail. If it were a test of man to see if we can truly love each other regardless of issues of our tax dollars, we fail miserably. Isn't there a movie out there about this? Are we not being judge for our judgments? That are baseless in regards to our true reason for our lives, IMO...yes we should learn for our advancement in this lifetime, and instead we let this issue- that's everywhere now- keep us from our own growth spiritually.
Maybe junk good just tastes better. Maybe they just dont care. Maybe they keep themselves from their own growth too, they can't do the work either. They unconsciously put up a wall around themselves to keep the pain away. It could be people, bad experiences from their childhood. Sometimes when I hear this argument I'm amazed that seemingly intellectual people can forget these obvious issues. Well, back up, they're obvious to an actual observer. What will you focus on after our financial collapse? Lol when you're hungry and the only food around for days is coming from a group of huge, greasy obese ppl who might have disabilities, but dang it if they dont have the best home cooking u ever had, and to top it off, they ushered you in their group with open arms to boot. A slice of humble pie afterwards is always a good idea. We should release this mindset. Its human on human crime.
