CNN: 617,000 women left the job force in September. Men? 78,000.

Well, when I ask, "So what?" I am not saying there is no problem. I am asking what might be potential implications or ways to resolve the issue. My guess is that families make that decision on a variety of important factors, that may include an analysis of each person's income, analysis of the cost-benefit analysis of a nanny while both keep working, each parent's preference, and other factors. Maybe some of these women are not feeling like they are the ones who "have to" drop out, but choose to, given that one parent needs to.

I am also just trying to emphasize that 2020 has a slew of societal problems for ALL humans, not humans of a certain gender. If the woman stops working, the man likely feels WAY more stress to be the sole income-earner of the family. And, the woman likely feels more stress to be the main carer of the children.BOTH people's (and the children's) identities are impacted here, not just the woman's. It's not all about the woman. These are problems for EVERYONE, and life in 2020 is hard for everyone (except maybe crazy rich people?)...
