Coming back to NoFap. 36 days porn free, but not MO free. Some observations...

I've found that going back to masturbating once or twice a week has been arguably more beneficial and life changing to me than going 100+ days hard mode which did nothing but constantly bring me in and out of near suicidal flatlines. I've personally never been addicted to porn despite being exposed to it once I hit puberty. Throughout my teens I've watched porn just a handful of times and have only masturbated 2-3 times per week so I've come to believe that flatlines are not natural and are not indicative of a recovery since I was going into flatlines even though I was not addicted to either porn or masturbation. Trying to convince the nofap community of this is difficult because it has truly become a cult in many ways. I don't doubt that people have success with going 90 days nofap, but I do wonder if 90 days might be a bit excessive for the vast majority of people. Gary Wilson of YBOP himself has questioned where the nofap community came up with the 90 day period. In his videos he has also said there isn't much science behind flatlines and is unsure what they are exactly. I've never been even a remotely depressive person but after having gone 100+ days of nofap I seriously became nearly suicidal even though I was not addicted to either porn or masturbation. One might wonder why, then, did I decide to do nofap: I just read about all the success stories and how much peoples lives changed from simply not masturbating so I thought what harm could it do to try? I'm not going to try to convince the whole nofap community that masturbation is normal and healthy, but I just wanted to post this for those of you out there who can bare to consider another perspective.
