Costco Bakery and Deli Nutrition Facts

Costco is worth it for certain things but you have to watch out for the traps. Since I live a mile away from one, it sort of has become part of my life and part of my monthly spending. Even just a few items in their oversized cart will total $100-130 or ~(£80-100). The biggest savings can be had with meat and paper products. Ground/mince beef, bscb, boneless chicken thighs, paper towel, toilet paper, table napkins, facial tissues, etc. Personal hygiene and cleaning products can be bought in bulk as well. You just have to have room to store it. For example, buying bleach results in 3 large bottles that I have to store somewhere. I buy bar soap, but I have to buy 16 of them. Same with paper towel and toilet paper. Takes up quite a bit of room! Also I feel like most people might not know what they are actually looking at in Costco. Take for example, a large can of tomatoes. They might seem expensive because they are sold in a 3 pack. But they are not just any tomato. They are San Marzano tomatoes, the most famous plum tomato to come out of Italy. You'd end up paying double the price if you bought them per each at your local grocer. I think Costco is for affluent families that want to get high quality food in bulk for less. I'd probably shop there more if I could afford to, but I'm already spending about $350/month there. That's about half of my house payment.
