Could France, following these turbulent and bloody couple of years invoke article 5 of NATO?

How do you do that? Build a bunch of camps for Muslims until you can figure out who the "radical" ones are? Deport everyone who came from or has immigrated legally from a Muslim majority country?

Probably something better than any of that. I'm not expert in authoritarian states.

1) create a stable area in the middle east so that it can naturally and organically be a place that allows people to live out their lives.

Well, the West already did that once and this is the result. Since I'm focusing on Wahhabi-influenced terrorist groups I'll mention it again.

Wahhabism is actively being promoted to spread by a stable state-- Saudi Arabia. Of course educating and raising the standard of living is the long-term goal.

So I'll ask you. How?

Not just idealistic one liners, but actual methods of doing this for Arab/Middle Eastern states as well as people already embedded in Western civilization. You would think their standard of living has been raised. Many of these terrorist attacks, in the US, are operated by well-to-do, educated people.

Why are they still doing them?
