So I created and printed a graphic novel made with the Midjourney AI

Computers are useless. They can only give you answers - Pablo Picasso

What worries me is the potential to train an AI on one or two artist's works, easily done by just spidering their deviantart, then creating new stuff from that style.

The problem isn't whether that's ethical or not, it's about corporations ultimately owning those produced AI-works. They can claim they aren't the artist's work.. because they aren't, technically. They have the lawyers, so they can just sue all of us into nothingness if we try to sell AI-art, but they can just bully the small artists with it.

That is to say, it's not the philosophy here that will matter.

It will be the corporate lawyers vs us.
