I have a theory as to why this story and the complaining about the women's division have picked up so much steam lately.

After losing to NXT for a few weeks because they hotshot their programs, AEW has been killing it the last four weeks. Their ratings are through the roof, the matches are great, the promos even better, and the build to All Out coming together so nicely. Because they're firing on all cylinders--even beating Raw and SD in key demos--the anti-AEW folks all over this sub need something to complain about.

First it was the Excalibur video. Then the women's division (ignoring the injuries and covid restrictions). Then AEW heels. Now it's Jericho's fozzy concert.

Because the in-ring and television product are so good, people are grasping for anything. And it really sucks because AEW has done so much for wrestling in America in a short time. But do your best to tune out the haters.
