Currently learning how to program. What entry-level jobs in the tech field can I pick up while I learn code?

Associate Software Engineer (or similar entry role).

I really don’t care if your degree exactly matches up to the job (sciences is a plus). If you can code fairly well and I can tell you’re passionate about learning I’d hire you on as an associate software engineer.

AWS is big right now of course. If you learn the basics there your options are open. Example: API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB all integrated together and secured. Bring that to an interview and I’d take you over a CS major with no portfolio. Lots of other components to explore for different use cases as well.

If front end development is more up your alley check out React, VueJS, the latest Angular, etc. Lots of free courses to be found on YouTube
