And rather than engage with said anecdote in an appropriate way you chose to make broad assumptions about the plan of a patient who is not your own.As someone with so much experience, I would expect you to understand why that might be inappropriate...

I'm not going to argue or debate the obvious short of specific questions. No matter client specifics, 'hugging' is not a behavioral function. As his therapist rather than a parent or other family member, I am not sure why you'd be 'teaching' hugging to a client. Is that part of the BIP?

I am, in fact, a teacher. I also supervise and work online with BCBAs and their clients. What I wrote was not 'advice' though I don't see that as a problem. It was, instead, an observation.

There is still a great deal to learn. Maybe on my next attempt....
