Unpopular opinion: I disagree with a bunch of our ethics

I agree. I also find it possibly detrimental to my relationships with some parents to refuse certain things.

In the beginning with one family I refused the coffees and treats and snacks, but they would literally go, "no coffee, have a water. At least try this candy. At least have this thing." They enjoyed being hosts and I don't really see how having a coffee or pastry is bad.

There is no way I could ever not be close with at least the kids. I just love kids in general so much, and fall hard for my clients after like a week lol, it's impossible not to with their cuteness even if they have some really difficult behaviours. Some of my most challenging / aggressive clients have been some of my favourite ones.
