You’ve had essentially an open invitation for years to join if you wanted and there’d be very few opposed to the move. You’ve already started some connections by joining for hockey.

You already have multiple existing rivalries in the conference. Also you’d be a phenomenal fit academically, geographically, and athletically. Along with having a strong enough tradition to match the history of the heavyweights in the conference.

I’m fine with you guys being independent but I’m sick of hearing this as the reason why you’re still independent or at least as to why you haven’t joined the Big Ten.
