Just saw a post with almost 300 comments over in /r/Futurology linking to bloomberg talking about the surge above $900... Of course, not surprised to see that the first post with almost 200 upvotes is "This was actually 2-3 days ago. It dropped down to around $865.00 now."....

sigh.

We really aren't gonna get past people being afraid to lose their stash until we're well above $5k and have gone as far without a correction. ATH won't matter, especially if we hit / breach it, and correct back to 850 first. I realize that 925 -> 850 was a 50% retrace and pretty par for the course, and should expect it to keep rising, but these people don't. They see a headline calling out a new price, and when they check themselves it's not even close and has fallen off a cliff. We need some steady upwards movement without dumps if we're going to have any chance at convincing people this thing won't turn around and fuck them in the ass.

Some of the replies in that thread are from knowledgeable people, but 90% aren't. It's scary. Have we made that little progress in educating people over the last three years?
