Yeah this is good, half way through it at the moment.

I read 'Wiggaz With Attitude' too which, apart from the awful title, was a great book about how hip hop made its way to the UK in the late 80s and early 90s and how people engaged with it. Dude gets into making beats and discovers his own approach to lyrics when him and his mates realise that white kids from Yorkshire aren't (as a rule) living the same lives as the rappers he idolised. Probably of little interest to anyone who isn't from the UK and into hip hop but it was cool to see how we adopted it and formed our own underground scene (which I am discovering is pretty great on its own merits).
