This will be unpopular but I really felt for Jessie last night. As a neurodivergent woman myself I genuinely think she is ND too. She was struggling so much to articulate herself to Casey and misses a lot of social cues. A few other reasons I think it:
Having a ‘monotone’ or ‘flat’ voice is very common with ND individuals.
She also seems to take a while to process things- like finding out Will wasn’t loyal and she was consoling him rather than reacting before the absolute meltdown she has when she actually processed it.
Struggles with emotional regulation. People say she overreacted to Casa but to me she looked so overwhelmed emotionally and couldn’t regulate herself at all.
Being like a deer in headlines in social situations and getting frustrated when she can’t express her point properly.
Other’s describing her as ‘weird.’ She is very quirky in general.
I have Tourette’s and my mum was saying about her constant nose scrunching looking like a tic that I do and how she notices that it worsens when she’s stressed in the same way my tics do.
Not trying to armchair diagnose her but I feel like she is very misunderstood in there and is really struggling socially.
