Daily Megathread - 31/05/2021

(Probably going to downvoted to hell for this).

I believe Tony Blair is the worst post-war PM after Thatcher.

Tony Blair lied to the British public to get them to go along with the unlawful invasion of a sovereign nation of no threat to our country. This resulted in around a million deaths by his and Bush's hands, based on a conspiratorial relationship and a shared lie.

In the country around the election time the Labour party and the mainstream media including that scumbag Murdoch were going hell for leather to pump out pro-war propaganda and that is how Blair got in in 2005.

Introduction of the minimum wage - population control - any other wage, you are denied from working for.

Devolution for Scotland and Wales - It would have happened anyway.

Pogress in the NI peace process - It would have happened anyway and also if anyone deserves credit for that it's John Major, not Tony Blair.

Progress of gay rights - It would have happened anyway and also Blair himself was indifferent at best to the cause of gay rights, these improvements just happened under him. Also they didn't happen until the tail end of his premiership anyway.

Real terms growth of 18% in average incomes over 1997-2006 - all thanks to the previous conservative government! Gordon Brown immediately went about selling off half the countries gold reserves at the bottom of the market to downramp the price and save JP Morgan. The government vastly overspent and landed us all in a horrendous recession that saw the biggest rise in inflation since the Great Depression.

He also increased the powers of the state to spy on its people, upping government surveillance, illegal wiretapping, less privacy on the internet among other things, all for the illusion of safety.

His government put more people on the dole/useless training programs than ever and called it employment.

The man committed treason by any historical definition.

He was Bush's lapdog and put soldiers over there to secure oil pipelines. He served the interests of the International Monetary Fund by making sure the middle east still uses the failing U.S. dollar with which to denominate oil.

He is a criminal by every common law definition of fraud, misfeasance, treachery...take your pick.
