Doctors of Reddit, what's the biggest case of "faking it" you've ever seen?

I live in a one party consent state and use that to my advantage constantly. I record all professional meetings (I always tell people the first time that I do this... But they never remember for long). Twice in my professional life I've used those recordings during mediation to win a dispute.

But I'm pretty sure (I'm going to look into it to be 100%), that here at least, if you invite someone into your home, the meeting itself isn't private so they can record the meeting. But if they left a recording device or something it suddenly has no consenting person's present and becomes illegal. Guaranteeing (legally) your privacy at home. This would be true of any place, but specifically at home.

I'd be very surprised to hear it's legal to record someone at home in an even stricter state with 2 party consent.
