Does anyone else feel a certain sense of poetic justice to the women that wonder, "where have all the good men have gone?"

I think it depends on the girl. If she was the type that partied and used men for drinks, money, etc., then that just makes her a bad person to me. Men who do the same thing, being con men, are just as bad.

When you talk about party girls who just wanted to party, who thought they were doing the "right thing" given mixed messages from society, pop culture, friends, family, etc., I do feel sorry for those who might have an awakening later in life. Many of these women go along with hookup culture because so many others do, but many, many studies have shown over and over that most women would rather have relationships, even if they are short term (like for that particular school year, etc). I do feel bad when these girls who get all sorts of experiences run into guys who are their complete 180, actually like the guy, treat him well, but then the past comes up and the guys bolt. It is mostly because many of them just lived a life they thought they were supposed to be living.

For those people who think they are owed some perfect partner, they are just not thinking straight. Good luck finding the perfect 30ish, 6' guy, with an athletic build, clearing $100K/year.
