I think your obsession with intelligence and social status is one of the weirder special interests on these forums to be honest.

The "meritocracy" is NOT a concept that favors the autistic spectrum, if we look at it as a whole, and not just the top 5%.

I support the meritocracy - scholastic and otherwise - because it is based in objective value rather than some strange notion that everybody deserves something just for showing up, which is why there is so much blatant mediocrity in our society across the board. The kid who graduated valedictorian of your high school didn't get it because they were "gifted" with extreme high intelligence or something, chances are they worked their asses off to achieve that standard.
