'The dominoes are starting to fall': Retailers are going bankrupt at a staggering rate

I hate stores that have other sales reps in their store. I stopped going to Best Buy because of this, and I'm starting to see it more in other stores.

I have pretty bad anxiety as is. So when I go into a store, I know exactly what I'm looking for and where to find it with a very good possibility to have zero employee interaction. Top it off with self-check out. If I absolutely cannot find what I'm looking for, only then will I have to work through the anxiety and guilt that I'm inconveniencing the employees.

But Sam's Club. Fuck that store. The one near us has 2 strategically placed displays with reps pushing product (usually phones and something else. Lately it's some capsaicin pain lotion). Don't jump in my face trying to get me to look at someit gong, eat something, drink something, apply something. Just fuck off.

My anxiety was bad enough one day that a phone two said 'hi'. I got started and chocked out a 'hi'. Apparently, this meant that I was interested in purchasing an IPhone 7. I freaked out as he approached me with a sales pitch. "I'm not a Mark, you fucking asshole!"
