"Donald Trump is the embodiment of everything Singapore taught me to fear about democracy" - Quartz.com

Agreed. I'm confused as to what she means. Also her writing has trademark liberal painting black as white and white as black.

The only reason why Singapore succeed is our rampant nationalism and work ethic. Singaporean nationalism isn't very much different than america's nationalism. The liberal left wants to kill that nationalism and replace it with individualism.

So you feel safe at night? That's because every man here gives 2 years of our life to make sure the country stays safe. It's not because we like you or it comes out of the goodness of ours hearts, but it comes from the realization that nobody owes you a living, we hate NS, but someone has to do it in the end, even if the women and FTs here are unworthy of it. Do it for yourself and the man next to you.

Work ethic was this back in america till the 70s in which the generations following decided it was better to take than receive.

The irony of why young singaporeans who can't afford anything now is because of greed, not because of the system failing nor because young people expect much.

Now what remains on this election is whether the US can get itself back on track in which its economy can rebound and people can find jobs, receive the education they need while enjoying those rights they have in their constitution.

I'm quite tired of liberals bashing the majority for "crimes". Singapore would not be successful given its Chinese majority, nor america without its white majority. Racial diversity is not a strength but a weakness to mitigate. Singapore has had racial quotas because human nature is inherently distrustful of each other. Trust between races is not given, but built.
