Don't hate me for wanting an explanation

Well, why did you feel the need to walk off the job? You said you are satisfied with the work that you do and are happy being there (and I can understand why). I understand you have degrees—as do most other people in admin roles in the private sector—but I struggle to see why that is relevant to your argument. You think the work you do is significantly more difficult than say an assistant in the legal field who works WELL over the 9-5 that you do yet gets paid $40k a year?

I’m just trying to say that there are plenty of other people in jobs that work significantly harder, have similar education, and get compensated less (both in terms of salary and benefits). So, I pose the question again, why did you walk off the job?
