Good old Communist party if Canada with their absolute peanut brain takes.

The Russian language isn’t banned in Ukraine. There are laws and regulations concerning the use of Ukrainian in the workplace to promote it since it is the only official language there. Sure there may be some Ukrainian speaking Ukrainians that may have some gripes with people speaking in Russian, but that’s a different topic on a social level and that doesn’t constitute it being banned on a legal level.

The occupied territories had a large amount of the population leave when the war started, and there is 0 transparency when it comes to the referendums. Makes me wonder as to who is voting if the regions are not as populated anymore. Really hard to believe that all four oblasts (regions) will overwhelmingly vote 95%+ to join Russia.

I’m from Ukraine and it’s painfully obvious that you’re getting extremely biased information that isn’t factually true, and which doesn’t look at the intricacies of Ukrainian society. Especially the point regarding the use of Russian language in Ukraine.
