Like say grandma spends the whole visit playing with LO and and barely says 3 words to her son. Which im like okay fine just a doting grandma trying to spend time with her grandchild. But, what concerns me is, when SO was at home, she’d use him as an emotional support animal anytime she was mad at FIL. They both used him like this, vent to him about eachother. Emotional baggage SO was not equipped to handle. And she will come to SO and ask advice about things she should be going to FIL about but “doesn’t feel comfortable telling him”. I just can’t help but, think she may view her grandchildren as potentially her new confidant for dumping inappropriate information. Just wondering what signs to look out for. (LO already only has supervised low contact. )
