While many of you know me as a three time NBA Champion or a TV and Movie Actor and Producer, I have been an avid gamer for decades. For the past several years I have been actively studying the eSports industry and have attended events across the globe. Through my passion for gaming, I developed my vision to create the preeminent franchise in eSports - Team Echo Fox.
Since becoming an LCS owner I have been met with nothing but open arms from Riot to my fellow owners and fans. I am extremely grateful and thankful for the warm embrace that the eSports and LoL communities have given me. I plan to bring all my passion and energy to the community and expect that victories and titles for Team Echo Fox will follow.
As a competitor, I always play to win. As a gamer, I have long been a staunch supporter of eSports. I am proud to be more formally involved through Team Echo Fox and plan to continue to shine a positive light on this amazing community of gamers and fans.
My college basketball coach, the late Dean Smith, once told me that a leader's job is to develop committed followers and that the key to leadership is truly caring. My passion for eSports has been evident for years, well before I became an LCS owner. eSports deserves to be recognized as a sport and its athletes should be heralded like all others. It is with this spirit that I lead Team Echo Fox into the battle arena of the League Championship Series.
Echo Fox carries a championship pedigree, but it will take the effort and support of a diverse team to make sure we reach the top. Phil Jackson always reminded me, "For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and strength of the Wolf is the Pack". Championships are won by teams full of dedicated winners - players, coaches, and staff - and we are looking for dedicated winners to join our team. I can think of no better pool of talent than the community of newly minted Echo Fox fans.
I have assembled an extremely smart and talented group to help me become an LCS owner and execute upon my vision for Team Echo Fox. We have recently added several key members to the team and are now looking to immediately fill new roles including Head Coach, Analyst, Chef, Interpreter and Social Media Coordinator.
Our Head Coach needs to be a natural leader with a deep understanding of the game and the ability to create robust Pick/Ban solutions of the big stage. We are also looking for a live-in Analyst that can assist our Head Coach. He/she must possess strong organizational skills and a passion for statistical analysis. We are also searching for a Korean interpreter with strong communication skills. He/she will also be responsible for facilitating English tutoring.
