He said a couple hours later that he feels bad about some of the things he's said about other people while around me and hoped that I didn't let it think worse of him. None of it was ever blatantly awful, but he definitely showed his opinions and views by doing so. I told him I was interested in talking to a therapist and he offered to pay for the first few hours to get in the door. (I'm an adult, with an adult job and adult money and adult health insurance. I just thought it was super sweet because to me it was him showing his willingness to try to help out.) I think it might have been a very jarring thing for him cause I was always his kid more/less. Taught me how to shoot, how to drive a manual car, how to do basically all that kind of stuff.
