Story Time.

I played EQ from release, up until after Kunark. I played a Troll, and I was on Tallon Zek(PVP). At one point, I had earned enough equipment, but maintained a low enough level that I fought inside of that mid thirties range of PvP, as it was a roleplaying guild.

Anyway, the guild name was "Army of Grobb". Army of Grobb was all trolls, roleplay based, and it was hella fun to run around with other trolls PvPing people.

I logged in after many, many years, and found my character still existing, but Grobb itself...not. It had been taken over by Frogloks in one of the expansions/stories, and my character was devastated. He had "Army of Grobb" over his head, no guild members left really, and here I am, a troll without a home.

I'm walking around, lamenting about how I'm the only member of the Army of Grobb left, and this random newbie troll comes up, around level 8-10, and starts roleplaying with me.

We do some troll talk for a while, having a good time, and since I wasn't planning on playing again I removed all of my equipment and packed it into bags, and gave it to him, inducted him into the guild and told him to keep it going and TAKE BACK GROBB.

It was some badass equipment for a level 10 to have, and probably made his day, but I'll never forget it.

Here's to you little buddy, hope you took Grobb back for the trolls.
